Lexulous 2020: Puzzle Mode
-
@Lesa-Moore the score you obtain the difference between your score and the target score. If the target score is 10. You play a move worth 5. Then your score is -5.
-
@Melinda-Thompson we shall implement this. Thank you.
-
Could you put the definitions at the bottom again like the regular lexulous? That is one function I really like. I like this game, it is addicting, trying to figure out the words that the other person had played.

@Steven-Papier You have to click on Tools

Hi. Thanks for this. Things I like: they're from actual games; you're given previous player; you're given highest move (though occasionally strange that the AI doesn't find anything higher....). Things I'd like to see different: to see what the AI's play actually was, after you've played; for the scoring system to take more notice of how well you do versus potential points and less of how well the previous player happened to do; (and this is the biggy for me) to have a rating system that puts more weight on how well you do with the games you play than with how much you play. Right now it's an awful lot to do with volume of puzzles you complete, which could be one metric but it's not the one I'm interested in.... Thanks!

@Lesa-Moore Thank you for the screenshot. This seems more of a problem due to Facebook game room. Our team will look into fixing this.

@Lisken-Van-Pelt-Dus Nice thoughts.
- The AI is an indicative score. We will be providing bonus points if the AI's score is beaten by the player.
- Rating system will be improved.

@Steven-Papier it is

@lexulous Really, really love this feature. Please keep it! Still - although I love playing against a computer, the words are really "out of this world". It would be much better if you could program it to use less freaking weird vocabulary, and more "game"! The level should not be based on the vocabulary, but on the strategy.
-
It won’t let me move the letters onto the game board.
-
@Linda-Glenn Which device are you using? Also which browser?
-
Why has this suddenly started making a sound when I choose a letter? It's really irritating and I can't find a way to silence it other than through the laptop's volume setting. Other than that, love this mode.
-
@Clare-Forrest Shall be rectified soon.

When I look up a word on the game resources, it is second nature to hit the "enter" button rather than the go button on the board. Unfortunately, this then plays my word, instead of checking dictionary, so costs me points. I can't imagine I am the only person that does this. Can you fix this?

@Sarah-Smith-Kornhaus It is intended to work in the way you mention. Which browser do you use?
