Lexulous 2020: Puzzle Mode
-
I've been playing the practice game and today (on two different computers and two different browsers) the new game won't reload. I just see this blank screen. Any ideas?
-
@lexulous It's interesting to see the stats of the top ten ranked players, but they are in another universe. Why not (also) show me the NEXT ten above me with their ratings so I know how far I have to go to move up in rank?

@Jean-Pearse This issue has been resolved.

The letters are skidding around again & the score to beat is listing letters they used as 0
-
For the last several weeks, to place a tile, you need to set the tile one space under the square you want & then it will slide up into place. More recently, the tiles are disappearing altogether if you move them about on the board AND the blanks retain the letter you 1st assigned to them. They often will not become blank again even after recalling all tiles- they stay stuck as that letter you first chose.

@jean-pearse I am in the same spot as you. I believe it has to do with Adobe Flash not being supported any longer. If there is a solution that has already been posted, please repost it!

@spellingfool why not try some patience? It is not like Lex asked Adobe to leave. Lex is trying to give a site..that is worthwhile why not try some patience?

@spellingfool good luck have fun

@Pangloss I beat the best score often. An example today: Score to beat OKA 10. Best score AILERON 21. I put the same word (AILERON) and scored 59 by putting it in a different place. I often find 7 and 8 letter words which were not found by the setter, so obviously add on the bonus to the score. It has taken me five months to rise from 20th to 6th on the US dictionary site.
-
@nell-nelson "Best move so far" is different than "best move." There can only be one "best move."
-
@jenny-hornsey Best score wasn't the question, and my question was rhetorical - it was "best move. There can be many, many best scores, but by definition, there can only be one "best move" at a given time.
-
I'm doing this just to tell this site it won't let me start a new topic. It won't let me post it at all. I'll be really surprised if this is posted.

@holly-jennings Try again now.
