(as expected, when the above post was upvoted, my "reputation" score went up by 1, and haftoplay, i just upvoted your post, so you can see your rep just went up by 1. Truly cosmic, eh?)
@haftoplay @jrp32 I just upvoted your post jrp (hover over the number for more info) due to that cool link you provided. I hadn't seen those interesting sort options before. The 'reputation' thing (maybe not the best name for it) is simply when someone upvotes your post using that little arrow below your comment. Similar to how it works on YouTube, Facebook etc. Could be something that someone finds helpful, funny, interesting, strongly agrees with, wants to thank you for, an idea you suggest that they want to see implemented (multiple upvotes could help it get done) etc. A kinda courtesy thing if you like. There used to be a downvote option as well (similar to Reddit) but that was recently removed. There have actually been a few threads already about how it works. I noticed you edited your post as well as you were figuring it out lol. And cheers for the upvote.

@betterlate1-0 I was curious and amused that reputation scores were here. I received an email once saying that my reputation score was lower than my friends and neighbors, what a joke! I posted it on Facebook and asked my friends there who was responsible!

@haftoplay it takes a group effort ..the trolls do it. why post it and make them famous is beyond me, but it is all choices

@haftoplay I never heard of reputation scores and did not know what they were until i was told ..I never tried to help someone for pts just because if I could I wanted too but would like to fix when it says I am new user so have to wait to post until I get 3 reputation or enough time goes by..we know i am not new user so this is someones idea of fun
