    Polish is a West Slavic language written in Latin script. It is the official language of Poland and serves as the native language of the Poles. The Polish language is quite complicated to understand, providing complex grammar and usage of seven cases, but if you are interested, you can opt-in.

    The traditional polish greeting is quite sweet. Men kiss a woman’s hand to greet as a symbol of respect, sympathy, and friendship. It’s not a regular greeting style nowadays but at ceremonious events, people follow the tradition.

    Polish cuisine is as great as the poles. Polish food is famous for Pierogies, one of a kind dough filled with different fillings like potato, sauerkraut, or meat. But Polish food palette is more than Pierogi, it has so many shades of delicacies like Schnitzel, Bigos, Kiełbasa (sausage), Żurek, Flaki, Szczawiowa, Golonka including mind blowing desserts like Pączki, Faworki, Racuchy. If you have tasted at least some of these cuisines, then either you are a polish or you have polish acquaintances, cause it takes hours to prepare polish dishes, so poles put so much effort into cooking for their closed ones.

    Vodka is traditional Polish alcohol and the most popular drink in Poland. Poles also appreciate good wine, beer, and other modern drinks. But any occasion is good enough in Poland to drink Vodka. Drinking Vodka is often considered a symbol of sympathy, even strangers get bonded over vodka shots.

    If you love music and want to experience world-class music concerts, you must visit Poland. Europe's biggest open-air music festival has been hosted in Poland. It’s called Pol’And’Rock Festival. This free annual weekend-long rock music festival takes every year at the end of July or the beginning of August.

    Europe’s largest Gothic fortress is in Poland, which took 230 years to complete.

    The Bialowieza Forest in Poland is the only place, where European Bison living freely in the forest along with Wolves, Lynx, Red Deer, Wild Boar, Elk, and Roe Deer. If you want to witness the wildlife, guided tours are available for you either on foot or in horse-drawn carriages.

    You can visit the Wieliczka salt mine, one of the most beautiful sites in Poland. It is the only mining site in the world that is functioning since the Middle Ages. This UNESCO recognized heritage site has sublime chambers, corridors, and hatchways made of salt.

    @agentcarter Powitanie-Do not know much about Poland but those pictures are great , make me want to know more..so is the kielbasa, and perogies . My sil was polish and her Christmas cookies were delicious. Do not know how I missed this thanks for the info and pictures
