When I'm playing on my Android phone using the app and I join a live game, my opponent has three full minutes to play. If the opponent is not there and will never play that means I literally have to stare at my phone for 3 minutes hoping that he's going to play. I think this should be paired down to about 2 minutes, at least that will be a little less wasted time

A better idea would be to have the initial play timeout be a ratio of the total game length. Even a 2 minute timeout will annoy some players I bet.
This might be less necessary if they fixed the bug where app players can join any game without the host accepting them.
