Dictionary / Word List Choices

I have followed the protocol for changing dictionary use to no avail. I set it for UK and it continues to start new games in US. Please help.
-
@Kath-Beaumont Good. I was going to suggest possibly uninstalling and reinstalling the app oh, that could have some benefit sometimes.
-
@arrowmaker Are you starting games with "Random Opponents" or with friends?
-
What is an IT dictionary?
-
@Carole-Labelle IT dictionary could be computer terms, or could be ITalian dictionary (that should be ITL).
-
@betterlate1 No it shouldn't - not if the dictionaries are abbreviated to two characters.
-
@Pangloss I did not say it should, I did not say it was right..I said it could be..thanks though. I suspected first it was IT like computer but tried to think of anything it could be since we were not face to face chatting. Do not assume what or how I think. Remind me of someone in other lobby.
-
@Carole-Labelle IT is Italian word list. Shifting this thread to the dictionary and word list section.
-
Do you use Collins Scrabble Dictionary 2019 edition?
-
@betterlate1 I see the word "should" so you apparently aren't aware of what you wrote.
-
@Pangloss no one said 2 letters I do not know the rules here or other changes here..usually at other sites it is IT but this is here and It can also be Internet like professional .why are you doing this? Going to keep it going for eternity? You worry about what u do and stop caring so much what I do or u will be chasing people out of here too
-
@betterlate1 Are you crazy? You did say it "should. Specifically, you said "(that should be ITL)" and I simply responded. Read what you wrote and get some rest. You must be tired.
-
@betterlate1 said in Dictionary / Word List Choices:
(that should be ITL)
You: "(that should be ITL)"
Also you: "I did not say it should, " See the conflict?
No one is "going after" anyone, I am just pointing out that you're confused. If you don't like that, just acknowledge it and move on, or block me, who cares?
No one is chasing anyone. You must have me confused with someone else. -
@betterlate1 If it is 2 letters it would be IT if however you look at the list of languages they spell it out in entirety. So it would be ITL if it was abbreviated unless it is 2 letters then it would be IT
-
@betterlate1 And that is my original point (that you contradicted yourself on). I have seen the following (all two letters): US, GB, FR, IT. If it's spelled out somewhere, I am not aware of it. And again, if you think I am "going after" you (or anyone) call your psychiatrist and tell him/her your paranoia is kicking in. Otherwise, please block me.
