There needs to be the ability to play the bots at an UNRATED game! Who the hell is going to beta test anything for you while getting stripped of points? Happy to have a go and provide feedback, but not if using an unknown format, a whole new layout, while playing a bot cheat! I've tried heaps, but the bots just don't want to play my unrated games....
@shaggydogswerve like who the hell is going to play a robot if when you lose, you lose 36 points???

Is there any way to make the squares/tiles bigger and darker as I find them difficult to read?
Any way to sort the players via rating?
Can you scroll with mouse through ongoing games? -

@lexulous right o, played 3 games, didnt mind it. Managed to win 1. One gripe is the "shuffle" pop up box that comes up when you hover over shuffle. Not needed I dont think and distracting

@jjf1012 We'll offer the theme options very soon for the board. Click on the rating title to sort. Yes you can scroll with the mouse, just put the pointer on the relevant area and scroll.

I've been playing for years and appreciate this site. After playing around with the interface for the new version, here are my initial thoughts on things to fix:
I can't scroll the list of players, available games or watchable games.
Please get rid of all the obvious bots e.g. the ones with no avatar, strange names and never seen on non-flash version etc.
Allow us to transfer our rating. Why should I have a new lower rating when logging into this new version?
Add some different boards.
Add a dark mode. No need for all that white space around the edges of the screen. This would be easier on the eyes and improve concentration.
Don't kill off the flash version. Some regulars might still prefer it if it continues to function.
I may add further suggestions soon after playing a few games. Thanks for listening. -

@jjf1012 Yes, an option for a bigger board would be great. I'm also curious if the lobby if going to survive? I don't use it much but I think admins should keep it. Lots of people chat there. It's not always polite, but the site may feel a little dead without it.

- Scrolling works if you put the mouse on the list and use the mouse-wheel. Separate scroll bar will be added in next iteration.
- Option to show/hide bots will be added.
- When the new site launches, your old rating will be applied (if it's higher than the new rating).
- Dark mode already present on new website at https://www.lexulous.com/v2/ - check in the Settings page.
- Lobby chat will also be present.
Right now our team is just working to ensure the game play is as smooth as possible.

@Dan-Mitchell you do realise this is a beta test version before the full version is released don't you? The bots are there so you have an opportunity to play and provide feedback so the format can be improved. Unrated bots are available so you don't lose points, should you choose to play them. They are clearly labelled as bots already.

@lexulous Thanks for the response. Can't believe I missed the dark mode lol. Looks great. Nice to know lobby is coming back as well (please make sure it's visible during games). Good news is the gameplay is working well on new version. Smooth and snappy, no crashes or major bugs etc. Keep up the good work.

Quick point regarding the aesthetics of the board. I've noticed the new board is very pale and the letters are very thin, unclear and not well defined. Please make the board and tiles clearer, crisper, brighter, maybe bigger. Make the font on the tiles darker and thicker etc. Do a side by side with the old board and you'll see what I mean. Cheers.

@Martha-Lucia Hover over 'game' during gameplay for sound option. Sounds currently aren't enabled by default.

@lexulous game with pietime..put word pix ..disappeared as did all buttons..then pietime put words that were not words..also some sort of chart below where used to see other games
