@betterlat I am new to this game so tying to work a few things out ,had been on scabble which they have ruined so tryig this out

We are pleased to inform that our new game rooms are progressing! A large number of existing problems will be solved in these rooms.

@lexulous Would love to do the closed beta. But there seems to be no way to chat, and the one game I set the two people I knew in the beta couldn't join it, there was no way. It was a four-player. It seems pretty broken. So:
- Is there some way to chat?
- How do people join a four player?

@majorwordster No way to chat unless you are in game or use messenger. I don't know about 4 player ..wasn't working I thought fixed..did you try the drop box?

@betterlate1 just went and checked 4 player works. Set the game and click the drop box

@majorwordster the dropbox works.. so set the game, click the dropbox for number of players ..have fun hope it helped

SETTING the game works just fine, but the people who wanted to play in it couldn't. They said there was no way to join it. I don't know if that was user error, being confused by the new layout or if it truly wasn't working. But I sat there for five minutes while they tried, and they finally gave up and left.

@Dave-Robinson Do they have the Facebook app linked to their page? If not, I don't think it's possible.

@Una-Ni-Mhathuna I've been playing for years, love this game. I like the email version, where you only play a turn when it suits you, rather than any time pressure. In spite of its name, you don't need to use email.
@Ange-Wither Email is how your account is connected to the game, but one doesn't play through email.

@Stephanie-Schmitt aw so sorry Stephanie, I am also a big fan of the real games of scrabble..Due to circumstances this can't be scrabble. Just be patient. It grows on you.

@betterlate1 I would have erased the previous response if I could. You can play games that last up to an hour. You can go make a meal, read a book come back and take your turn. Whatever your preferences

@Stephanie-Schmitt Try the EMAIL VERSION on the site. Those games are not "real-time". You can play at your convenience.

Playing a game with two others; settings of 60/0, 60/30, & possibly more were tested. During the first round, this may apply to other rounds as well but was not tested, if a player did not make their move within the first minute of their clock time the game was automatically disbanded. This spells trouble as my family intentionally plays this game over video chat as a way to facilitate discussion. Speed lexulous is the opposite of what we are trying to do. I think this is a bug, however if it is not please make this feature a separate toggle-able option, its inclusion hurts alternative playstyles.

@Grant-Thompson This happened in the BETA live rooms. It also might be the cause of @Pangloss getting booted out without understanding why.

@Stephanie-Schmitt game times can be set for 60 minutes, also there is an option which adds 30 seconds to your clock every time you place tiles. Make custom games instead of challenging individual players if you would prefer this option.
