Lexulous 2020: Puzzle Mode

Hi there
I can't see why I should have scored 12 less than the previous player on this game, though maybe something is just missing in my mental processing. I'm attaching screenshots. I played KOANS and scored 39. The previous played played SOAR in the same position, with the same A common to another word, and scored (according to what it said before I played 41) and according to my rating later 12 more than me. Does this make sense? Am I not seeing the obvious?

@Nell-Nelson SOAK - under the K there is a double letter tile.

Hello, I'm trying to play game #16666, and it is frozen, won't respond to anything I click. I've cleaned out my cache, restarted the game numerous times, and nothing. So I'm stuck, can't play it so can't go forward. Please fix?

I'm really enjoying this game but, for the last hour the game board is frozen. My id is Lex ID: 4348-7330-5229. I can still use the game board, but not the puzzle board. The puzzle showing on the board is number 11631UK. I have reloaded it several times. Can you fix it?

I can't see my letters; they are hidden behind my taskbar at the bottom of the screen. How do I move the board up higher?

My Puzzles board froze yesterday. Still frozen today. Can't even see my letters at the bottom of board. So frustrating!!!
I have been playing Lexulous since 2007. I have working my way up on the Puzzles US dictionary site from 25+ to 6th. I play every day and feeling very frustrated that I can't play the Puzzle.
I am no having any problem with my usual email games. That board is ok.

It would be great if the game gave you bonus points for exceeding "best move". That way we don't just quit when we hit best move points but look for an even higher score.

@Jean-Pearse How can you exceed best move? It's not possible.

@Pangloss The best move is the best the robot could think of. But it's possible to score higher than that surprisingly often. But not always.

@Nell-Nelson - Then what the robot "thought of" wasn't the best move...
️@Pangloss It was the best move so far. If you beat it, you are the best move so far. The machine can only compute what its algorithms allow and they don't take account, it seems, when you place tiles that allow words to be read in say three or four different directions. But who am I to say?

Thanks - it has righted itself. I notice other have had the same problem. It was odd because it was only the Puzzles screen, not the normal game.

@betterlate1 game in where you were asking for help and saying you could not see the bottom. You taught me a lesson..to read it all before I say a word.

@lexulous I'm playing the UK version but the two letter help is the US version - used to be okay but seems to have changed.

@Helen-Smith That is not being offered as of now. We shall consider this suggestion or maybe has a list of players who have played good moves in the puzzle. What do you think?
@lexulous I like the current set up as it gives you something to aim for. If possible, it would be nice to see a few other moves that have also been good after seeing the AI move. I like to look at the AI move even if I've beaten it. It is always fascinating to see the different moves which can be made on one board.

I've been playing the practice game and today (on two different computers and two different browsers) the new game won't reload. I just see this blank screen. Any ideas?

@lexulous It's interesting to see the stats of the top ten ranked players, but they are in another universe. Why not (also) show me the NEXT ten above me with their ratings so I know how far I have to go to move up in rank?

@lexulous Just recently you can't re-arrange the tiles in your rack - they skid around and won't arrange in the order you are trying to place them.
