When you click on a square to start your word you can only get a right pointing arrow or downward arrow. Is it possible to get an upward arrow so that if you're adding vertically to the end of a horizontal word (spelling it backwards) you can do so? The top row of the board seems to be especially problematic from placing tiles to go downwards!

@hicklers Thank you for sharing this. We will discuss this with our developer's team and try to include this aswell.

Awful idea IMO. An extra arrow just for that rare time you might want to enter a whole word backwards? They'd then have to add a left pointing arrow as well. It would ruin the logic and efficiency of the method. It's fine the way it is with the two standard arrows. And what's point of an upwards arrow on the top row? Wouldn't work at all. You can always drag the tiles if you need to enter a word in an irregular way. Or click once or twice for an arrow, type letter/click tile, repeat as necessary. I certainly wouldn't be passing this on to the developers.

@dan-mitchell I think you have mis-read my post. I wasn't suggesting you need an upward arrow on the top row! However I frequently spell words backwards from the end of the word I am joining on to as it is easier (for me anyway!) than working out where a long word needs to begin in order to join the end of another. I have no trouble spelling words backwards ...
