    Azeri or Azerbaijani are spoken by the Turkic people of the Iranian Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani and Turkish are two closely related languages that are said to be mutually intelligible.

    Swans, flamingos and pelicans all flock to this region.
    Azerbaijan is famed for its epic mountain ranges and the mulberry groves and vineyards that flourish in its valleys.

    Baku (Capital city) is considered as the most important center of the festivals due to their scale and types. The festivals in each region, on the other hand, represent their own local characteristics mostly related to its food, fruit, and so on.

    Baku International Jazz Festival is one of the popular musical festivals of this region.

    @sakamvari Baku is also known for the world's largest producer of petroleum oil.
