Latvian, also known as Lettish, is the official language of Latvia as well as one of the official languages of the European Union. It is an Eastern Baltic language belonging to the Balto-Slavic branch of the Indo-European language family, spoken in the Baltic region.

There are plenty of traditional Latvian dishes made from mushrooms, but the most delicious must be fried boletus with salt, rye bread, and herb-flavored butter. Apart from that, you can try Kvass, Beetroot soup, Speck, Smoked fish, Potato pancakes, and Bread soup as dessert.
