Turkish also referred to as Istanbul Turkish or Turkey Turkish is the most widely spoken of the Turkic languages, with around 70 to 80 million speakers. It is the national language of Turkey.

Apart from Turkey, Turkish is the official language of Northern Cyprus and Cyprus too. Turkish also has been spoken in Azerbaijan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Bosnia, and Herzegovina.
Turkey is responsible for 75% of the world’s hazelnut exports.
The national sport of Turkey is oil wrestling a.k.a. grease wrestling, which is also one of the oldest sports here.

The Turks brought coffee to Europe in the 16th century. And their classic mocha coffee, brewed in a cezve, is also popular even among travelers. But 96% of the population in Turkey drinks at least one cup of tea per day. Turkish tea is robust, and they serve it in small tulip-shaped glasses.
