The main way to get a game is to send requests to players on the main list. However, few 'US' players want to play using SOWPODS (UK), but there is no way of knowing who is who.
How about listing this in players stats?
Just a 'UK' or a 'US' in the corner.

(Ideally, there should be an automatic system of matchng players: each player sets their parameters and the program comes up with matches, possibly from a larger candidate pool.
This would cut down the WAITING time a lot.
(But I realise it would involve major roadworks. Nice thought, nontheless).)

Or both if you swing both ways.

@ccappuccino Regarding live games, it might be best to add it next to each name in the main player list. That would save the extra step of clicking the name to bring up the stats box before finding out.

@dan That would be best, sure, but the dev guys might have trouble fitting the resultant wider window in on the screen.

@dan Maybe it could appear when the cursor hovers over the player name?

@ccappuccino Well, all that's really needed is the little purple 'T' or green 'S' box that matches your dictionary preference. They could just about fit it into that space just to the left of the avatars in the main list.
