The "El Despertar" is a classic medium-to-full-bodied Nicaraguan smoke, loaded with the flavors that make this pairing so magical. The cigar itself has dominant notes of dark chocolate, earth, and a lingering spice. When I take a sip of hot, black coffee, my palate is cleansed and primed. Then, when I take a puff of the cigar, the flavors explode.
