The Atlas is made up of the High Atlas in the middle of the country, the Middle Atlas in the north, and the Anti-Atlas in the south. On a southwest-to-northeast axis, these three chains are set up.

In the west (2100m), there are limestone plateaus, and in the east, there is a folded system (3000m). It is Morocco's water tower.
