Marlene Zaedyan is an Armenian writer of Lebanese origin whose family history bears the scars of forced migration in the wake of the Armenian Genocide. Her book, Nine Lives Endless Dreams: A Survivor’s Story of Genocide and War, explores perseverance and survival, two topics that she cultivated as a child growing up throughout the Lebanese Civil War.
In addition to her writing, Marlene is a proud grandmother of two and a loving mother to two special needs kids and a daughter. Mango, her cherished dog, lives with her in her married household.
