Smart CPSs demand new forms of interfaces to enable seamless interaction as they revolutionize the human-machine communication process. For improved efficiency and remote service operations, new HMIs must be more intelligent, particularly when employees engage with technology in dusty, damp, or dark situations. Because operators are engaged in the production process for key decision-making, the HMI system should enable instructions to be submitted simply and quickly in order to improve problem-solving accuracy, safety, and speed.
