Hear, hear. This feature is one of the last remaining bits needed to make the new Lexulous work as well as the old site (with all the bells and whistles that have been added). We all know change is difficult, but by now this new place is feeling a lot like home! Just please give us the ability to accept or reject players from our tables... tyvm

Controlling who sits at our table
Many thanks to the Lexulous team for all the hard work, and the improvements in New Lexulous that have become apparent in the past few weeks. Here is something that I think many players would like to see implemented: The ability to accept or reject players who come to one's table. (This was a feature of the old Lexulous, but these days it seems as if, when you set a table, you are obliged either to play anyone who joins it or else delete the game.) If it ends up not being possible to accept-or-reject, how about bulking up Censor so that people whom one has censored can't join one's game? As far as I can see, at present they are able to do so. Thanks again...

RE: Suggestion for new text shortcut button
@betterlate1-0 Indeed, this happened overnight. Personally I don't really feel the need for these tabs but perhaps some do. How about adding one for "I strongly suspect you have an anagram program running in the background" .... since that seems to be an oft-expressed sentiment in these games!

RE: Player avatars that others see are not what the player chose --
@jrp32 yes. I chose the "olive" avatar and yet I think I show up as a microphone.

RE: passing or swapping
@dan-mitchell I agree. If you know the other player is passing, it will affect your own strategy. Three passes per player is the correct way to do it.

RE: Seeing Time Parameters When Challenged
@scantron I'd very much like to see this option added, too! people keep inviting me to games and I keep rejecting them because I don't want one that is either too slow or too fast.

RE: Emojis
@betterlate1-0 emojis seem still to be there, I just made one!

RE: Chat Box Dialogue after games
@mapmakere it's very easy to miss because (as far as I can see anyway), at the end of the game the chat box swaps out for the dictionary and you see a definition of the final word. but the chat box is still there, if you click the tab.

RE: Sound still turns off
@pangloss Seems as if this is now enabled. Either my settings stuck after I turned sound on, or "On" is now the default. Thanks Lexulous team!

RE: Seeing Time Parameters When Challenged
@lexulous I have not seen a clock setting in any game invitations today... just letting you know.

RE: Screen reader support on iOS or in a browser
@kg6sxy what a great idea. Do you know if other scrabble-type games (e.g. Words with Friends) offer screen reader support?

RE: Won and lost rating points
@haftoplay I agree, the correct result should be no points won or lost for either player.

RE: Won and lost rating points
@haftoplay I agree, this doesn't seem right. What I have observed is that in case of the rare tie, the game tells both players "you won" ... but I think the higher rated player going in loses points and the lower one gains points. Is it possible that this is what happened?

RE: Suggestion for new text shortcut button
@dan-mitchell right OK, it is working for you the same way as for me. (Not that I intend to follow up frequently or intensely on who is upping and downing who else!)

RE: Suggestion for new text shortcut button
@dan-mitchell in my case hovering doesn't show names of downvoters, for some reason. Oh well.

RE: Maximum # of posts
@dan-mitchell good luck finding moderators whom everyone considers neutral! I was accused recently of "condoning cheating," so I guess I am out

RE: Suggestion for new text shortcut button
@dan-mitchell ah, so I see! Although in some cases all you see is the initial, if they have no profile picture.

RE: Maximum # of posts
@mapmakere I feel ya... but I for one wouldn't vote for this. 10 posts in 10 minutes? Seems draconian! I still do use Censor for the ones who just unleash a vomitous torrent of verbiage on the room ... but those are only a relative handful.

RE: "ghost" tables
@betterlate1-0 yes, "refresh" is what I meant when I said "reload Lexulous."
