I was very happy with my old Lex playing board. But since my new Windows 11 laptop (same OS as previous laptop), I can't get rid of the value numbers on the squares, and even cycling through the color options in Settings, I can't get the old standard colors back. Any ideas about this?

New laptop, new Lexulous issue -
Question@sparks
Precisely!
This was not aimed at you. The email function on this forum is awkward and I got lazy and hit reply on the last posting.
Some folks on this forum feel the need to display their "superior" intellect by giving agressive and leeeennnngthy answers to simple requests or comments.
Frankly, this makes the forum unreadable. Normal people will not spend a lot of time wading through this chest-bumping.
Folks: Ask yourself whether your response is really intended to support the original poster, or whether it's actually an excercise in feeding your own ego.
Chill out. Save the forum.
@sparks is cool -
QuestionThis response is to the people who will recognize themselves.
There is so much quibling and argument on this forum that it is unpleasant and unreadable.

Identification colors are reversed on the graphOn the dot-graph, the colors seem to be switched:
I have a blue dot next to my name, but the graph line that shows my score is yellow.
My opponent has a yellow dot next to her name, but her score is shown with a blue graph line. -
Please let us choose....@zaph Obviously there would be default settings.
What is the big deal? -
Please let us choose....@mistertoad Sure! I think that they should all be options.
And... I'm not a "purist," as you assumed. I use the two-letter word list all the time.
So I would want to play with partners who agree to keep that in our games. -
Please let us choose....@jrp32 Why are all of you posters ignoring the fact that I was only asking for the CHOICE to switch the feature off or on?
-
Please let us choose....@mistertoad Jeeeeezzzz. I'm just asking for the option!
I'm sure with your impressive word prowess (and you sure just used enough of them!), you do know what the word "choose" means.
Choice: Option. The game partners get to choose what their standards are.
How could that be a bad thing? -
Please let us choose....@jrp32 That's like saying... if you don't want to eat candy, just ignore the bowl of candy sitting in front of you.
-
Please let us choose....So many new features!
Some of them change the way we play: for example, when you finish placing a valid word, the red play button changes to show the quality of your move.
The downside of this is that it encourages players to fish for words.... try this and that to see if they can find a high scoring tile combo that turns out to be a real word. I don't want to play with people who fish for words, so it would be really great if you would allow people to turn this off if both players agree.
I also find that the game is less fun if the game ranks my move lower than 80 or 90% and I keep having to work harder to find a better word.
This makes the game less relaxing. I would like to have the option of turning off this feature that keeps saying "not good enough! push yourself!" I may not want to work that hard! I win most of my games as it is.
Please consider offering the ability to chose how much anxiety we want to feel while playing Lexulous. -
Do not like new format. Give option to return to old one.@middlechild7 Hey! I'm about to turn 70 too, and I had no problem adapting to the new format. I didn't like it for about 5 minutes... and then got used to it. Don't malign 70-yr-olds even if you are one
Oddly, tho - the old format seems to have re-appeared suddenly this evening.
