Malegra 100 mg is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains sildenafil citrate, which belongs to the class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. Sildenafil works by relaxing blood vessels and increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, enabling an erection. The 100 mg dose of Malegra is the highest commonly prescribed strength and is typically recommended when lower doses, such as 25 mg or 50 mg, do not provide sufficient results. It should be taken approximately 30 to 60 minutes before sexual activity and is effective for up to 4 to 6 hours.
