I just got blocked for playing the word 'squished' !!!

I was playing a new opponent who has a rating of 2050 and a best score of 2150 or something, one of the guys that makes it incredibly hard to put anything down on the board lol, there was 2 or 3 times I had a bingo but I just couldn't get it down... Then at the end of the game he opens the board up and i put down 'squished' - it was a consolation goal if anything because he still beat me... anyway... I went to rematch.. . And he blocked me!!! For playing the word 'squished'?! It's a pretty standard word and the guy has a rating of 2050.... why am i getting blocked?!!!!
