Annoying pop up ads

@lusciousgrape Yourself and others have complained recently, but evidently, the people in charge don't care. I turned off my adblocker on the game and forum to have a look, and frankly, the ads and videos are disgusting. They completely cover everything and ruin every ounce of enjoyability and concentration that a relaxing word game should offer. The previous version wasn't this bad; the ads were more tastefully placed and sometimes of interest. The ads now look more like what you see on those sketchy illegal sports streaming sites. I'd wager that some of them are actually dangerous to click on. There are options such as using an adblocker or paying for no ads, however, not everyone is tech savvy regarding adblockers, and not everyone wants to pay, particularly when the $20 'ultimate' package is now the only option. I get that ads can help pay server costs etc, but they can be done in a professional manner, not just crudely slapped on as an afterthought with zero regard for aesthetics and user experience.

@lusciousgrape I wonder if it depends what browser or device you're using? Im on chrome, on a pc laptop, and get no ads covering the game. No, I dont have adblocker.

@mapmakere Probably because Google - the world's most invasive company who also makes Chrome, is gathering all of your information from your browswer. For the rest of us, they're trying to nab our information.

Please stop these annoying pop up ads in the middle of the lexolous board. Could you give me a reasonable explanation as to whiy this is done so much, other than you want to discourage folks from playing for free and sign up for PRO. Disgusting manipulation!

How wonderful that Admin finally responds in the forum. Now how about all the players who were unfairly (because of someone's misinterpretation of "bad behavior") muted in the lobby? FOR A YEAR??? Why do the complainers always have their way in here?
