Delayed Notifications Email Games

I have the Lexulous app on my android phone and when I'm playing an email opponent, it can take many hours until I get notification that they played a move. Support says it's a Google issue but I don't have that happen with any other app notifications. Anyone else have this issue or know of a solution?

@jayser As informed via mail that notification send is handled by Google, sometimes it takes time to receive but generally it process the notification immediately after every move.
You can also try updating the app once.
