How find Lex IDs?

Probably a dumb question but I occasionally want to challenge folk to an email game and I don't think you can just enter their name in the New Game window. Why isn't the ID in their Profile?

Sorry me ole mate, but here's the Profile that appears when I click on your name. How do I get from there to the Lex ID page that you posted? Or where should I start from?

@mistertoad Oh sorry. I got the profile and number and other stats by clicking my name in the players list. But of course if you can do that, you can see the person's name so it's all moot. I only play online and I think you said you only play email, so idk what to suggest! Sorry.

@mistertoad Consider the forum and the game site as two separate entities. Some people don't have their forum account linked to their Lex username so the Lex ID number wouldn't always be available anyway.
Best bet is to go to https://www.lexulous.com/v2/settings/index or https://www.lexulous.com/v2/play_email and add them as a friend with their username or Lex ID number. I just tried it with Mistertoad and established that your Lex ID is 568131318480 via your stats page at https://www.lexulous.com/v2/stats/568131318480. I can now match you to an email game. If their username here isn't their Lex username, you could direct message them here and ask for the username or Lex ID.

Thanks for taking the time to reply in such detail. I still believe that Lexulous need to fix this. I do not see any reason for separating the forum from game players in this way.Please Lexulous - at least place the ID along with our names in the .Profiles
