Please fix two game bug
-
Has this happened to anybody else? I encountered the two games at once bug, and the person in the game that got deleted censored me, presumably because they thought I was just sitting to wait for timeout.
Please fix this annoying bug!

@anexparrot I wouldn't count on them fixing that. It's been a known issue for months with myself and others making multiple posts about it.
Reminds me of another well-documented thing they should fix, but seemingly never will: the issue of app players jumping into your game uninvited. How hard would it be to receive a regular accept/decline message first?

@dan Of course, you're right, but I just thought since they had made a change to the game recently, I would mention it.
I played a live game from my phone for the 1st time the other day, and I noticed something a bit weird: when I tried to 'host' a live game, I think I was instantly matched with somebody else who had the same 'time controls.' (And I think they were a website player.)

@anexparrot Yes, no harm in reminding them. I'm not sure who's even running this forum anymore though. I don't see any interaction from the owners, admins, developers etc.
And that's interesting to know how the app experience works (assuming you used the app and not the website). I haven't tried the app for a few years but did recently try the website on my phone browser. It worked surprisingly well in both desktop and mobile view.

On the off chance someone from the staff actually reads this and decides to do something about it, here's an example of a scenario where this happens during live games:
You set a new game. When you're waiting for someone to join, you attempt to join someone else's game. The 1 minute timer starts for them to accept or decline and you're waiting. At this point, someone attempts to join the game you've hosted. You accept the request and the game starts. At this point, the person you previously sent the request to eventually presses accept and that game also starts. Of course, you've already started the other game, so will therefore timeout in the 'ghost' game. This will obviously piss some people off because they don't understand what's happening. The letters and moves between both games can sometimes get mixed up as well which creates even more confusion. A reload usually fixes things when it bugs out, but some people won't know what's going on.
Probably wasted my time typing that because I doubt they'll fix it. Bugs like this, and others, tell me that v2 is still in the public beta stage and not a finished product. Problem is, they think it's a finished product, so they'd rather add decorative BS like confetti than fix more critical bugs.

@dan that happens to me a lot - usually a player with a super low rating so I delete the game. Little did I know deleting games is a big no-no (whether you have a good reason or not). Now I'm penalized and cannot host games.
