The Dictionary tab in Lex Puzzles will tell me whether my word is valid, but nothing happens when I click the "Define" button. Is this button broken or is there a setting I need to check to get it to work properly?

@drbb01 I've noticed that for some words there is no definition. If it does it for all words it could be something on your computer or phone. It would be helpful if we knew whether you're playing on the app operating system etc.

@pangloss I am playing on my PC (browser: Firefox 111.0.1). I don't believe the problem is related to words with no definitions because I only try to click "Define" when I have a word designated in the window as "is valid." Although my cursor icon correctly changes from an arrow to a finger pointing when I mouse over the "Define" button, nothing at all happens when I click the button. Everything else seems to be working fine. I have not tried to play in the Android app because I can't figure out how to access "Lex Puzzles" in the app. [Please let me know how to do this 😄.]

@drbb01 I don't know what Lex puzzles is, but if you go to the Play store and search for Lexulous you can install the app, then log in and voila you can play with your phone.
As far as the definition button not doing anything on your computer browser, do you have pop-ups blocked? That could do it

@pangloss Lex Puzzles (there are both US and UK versions) is a a solitaire game I play in my Windows version. The player is presented with a rack and a board from an actual game played. The object is to get a higher score from that rack than a real player did. Your point total is the difference between the real player's score and your own. Your cumulative score is ranked against other players. In my web browser, the Lex Puzzles are under the "Practice" tab at the top. [I was unclear in my last response . I should have written, "I have not tried to play Lex Puzzles in the Android app because I can't figure out how to access it in the app. I do have the app installed and I do play Lexulous itself in the app. The "Define" button that doesn't work is the one in in "Lex Puzzles," not the Dictionary function in Lexulous.]

@drbb01 Interesting. Thank you. I've never played that but I just opened it on my Firefox browser. I used the dictionary tab and typed the word "cheese" and it gave me a definition.

@pangloss Time for me to troubleshoot some more on my end. Perhaps its an issue with one of my Firefox extensions. I'll report back whether or not I find the source of the problem.

@drbb01 one thing you might want to do is create a second profile and log into your browser under that name. Probably should clear your cash out first. Then see if the same behavior occurs. That way you can isolate it and make sure it has nothing to do directly with your profile. Another thing might be to log into a different browser and see what happens.
