Mute Chat Feature

Could you please fix the mute chat feature. Every time I take a turn in the same game I have to choose to mute again. The mute chat feature should last for all of each game and not turn by turn. I'm afraid there are some really creepy guys out there so I would much appreciate this. Yes I do realise you have a block button.

I have not seen a mute feature in the games here. Where would I find it?

On the right hand side of a game it says 'chat' click on the arrow next to this and 'mute' comes up as an option -
@betterlate1 Thanks for the response. Are you in the old lex site? The one with all the game rooms or the new beta game? I still don't see one in new site..just see a turn off chat. There is mute in other site

@elaine-solomon I agree with this problem, there are a lot of creeps out there. they all start with the same questions, " My name is .... I live in .... What is your name? Can we be friends ... they are usually useless players, I go to mute but this hasn't changed and it has to be switched on every game and also mutes other games too.

@okkiwi In the end I got so fed up with the creeps I e-mailed Lexulous and they disabled my chat function completely for every match. Now I can get on with just playing the game thank goodness!

I hope Lexulous will allow you the chat at the start of the game whilst giving you the option of turning it off for if things don't go well.
Surely a blocking option should mean a permanent block unless or until you yourself decide to talk to that person again (which is obviously unlikely)?
Anyway, I was sorry to hear about the problem. It's a sad reflection on modern life.

@elaine-solomon Switching off the chat toggle under settings seems to disable the in-game chat entirely. I leave it enabled so I can say "hi", "gg" etc, and the occasional bit of friendly chat (if my opponent isn't a psycho). I generally switch to the dictionary or tools tab for most of the game so the chat isn't in my eyeline at all times. The chat tab will light up blue if there's a message (and you're on a different tab) which is a nice touch.
