@Nell-Nelson After you have played your turn, just above the rack you get the option for viewing the player's move and the AI recommended move.

@lexulous Is it possible that the scoring doesn't always work? Sometimes when I beat the previous player, my rating number does go down. But sometimes when I beat the highest previous score by several points (as just now), nothing happens to my own rating number at all. And I don't know why 0 sometimes appears as previous scorings, since that is hardly ever applicable. But maybe I'm just missing something! Lex ID: 8305-2085-2273
@Nell-Nelson in fact (adding to my previous message) I just beat the AI score twice in succession but my score rating hasn't changed at all. I know it's silly, but part of the fun for me is trying to get my score down bit by bit, as low as I can.

@Sarah-Smith-Kornhaus I am going to shut up now. It must drive you mad how stupid we all are. I've realised I am looking at the wrong number. I should have been looking at the big number, not the little number for my score. And thanks to you I have found the bit where I can see the AI word and the previous player, so that's great. The only mystery is the occasional nothings that appear, but perhaps it's when I click to look at a board and then go to bed without playing at all. So I haven't given up, but neither have I played. I'll try not to do that.... Thank you for being so patient with all these messages.

was loving the new puzzle feature, until it started using games where WGs had obviously been used( apparent from the solutions to the words) This is no use and unfair to those who play fair.I
t means we can't beat the puzzle since we only use our brains and ( sometimes extensive ) vocabularies to play -

@lexulous I was just going to make the same comment. When I am using the keyboard to place the tiles and hit backspace because I mistyped, it does a backspace fine, but then it goes back to the previous webpage also. Very frustrating.

I've played MANY games and this helps me practice.
The only issue I have is if I press backspace, it doesn't remove my letter it acts like I used the browser back function... -
Most people commenting about word difficulty are, like me, frustrated with those words that seem to have been obtained with computer programs (someone said WG, but I can't find out what that means. I think I have a good brain and vocabulary, but some of the games are filled with words that are very specialized, and impossible to beat. Others want really simplified words. Is there any way that there can be levels of difficulty? I love being really challenged, so I'd rather it stay the way it is than be dumbed down, I just don't know how honest players can beat some of the extremely technical crazy games.

The board is displaying weirdly today. The letters have become seriffed (so less comfortable to read) and some of the info beneath the board has vanished. Maybe it will become back to normal later.

@Nell-Nelson the 'next game' feature has vanished for me, and so has the ability to see the AI's and last player's move. I'm using Safari. Which has always been fine up to now.

@lexulous Thanks for your reply. By the time I picked up, it was several hours later and the board had returned to normal. Next time, if there's an issue I will screenshot right away.

@lexulous I just played a 76 point word and Lex (puzzle mode - English) says I got 0 points for it.
@Rebecca-Grayson-Jaxon Sorry. It appeared on the next screen. Sometimes it shows up immediately, and sometimes it only shows up on the next screen.

@lexulous The game has done that thing again where the font of the letters changes, and when you move, there is no 'next game' tab, or record of the AI's move or previous player. I expect it will go back to normal in due course. But THIS time I have screenshotted before and after I played my word. All I have to do is work out how to attach the screenshot.
Hurray! Have done that. The two screenshots are the wrong way round but you will work that out....
