Lexulous 2020: Puzzle Mode

@Nell-Nelson the 'next game' feature has vanished for me, and so has the ability to see the AI's and last player's move. I'm using Safari. Which has always been fine up to now.

@lexulous Thanks for your reply. By the time I picked up, it was several hours later and the board had returned to normal. Next time, if there's an issue I will screenshot right away.

Lexulous Puzzles is a solitaire version of the game.
We are currently testing out this feature and it is in BETA mode.

@lexulous I just played a 76 point word and Lex (puzzle mode - English) says I got 0 points for it.
@Rebecca-Grayson-Jaxon Sorry. It appeared on the next screen. Sometimes it shows up immediately, and sometimes it only shows up on the next screen.

@lexulous The game has done that thing again where the font of the letters changes, and when you move, there is no 'next game' tab, or record of the AI's move or previous player. I expect it will go back to normal in due course. But THIS time I have screenshotted before and after I played my word. All I have to do is work out how to attach the screenshot.
Hurray! Have done that. The two screenshots are the wrong way round but you will work that out.... -

@lexulous Putting in the new double check to ask whether player really wants to play that word is very helpful, thank you. It will stop me playing by accident when I just wanted to check a spelling....

The dictionary only works sporadically
@Jean-Pearse The dictionary still only works for the 1st few words and then quits. Re-logging in doesn't help

I can't see why I should have scored 12 less than the previous player on this game, though maybe something is just missing in my mental processing. I'm attaching screenshots. I played KOANS and scored 39. The previous played played SOAR in the same position, with the same A common to another word, and scored (according to what it said before I played 41) and according to my rating later 12 more than me. Does this make sense? Am I not seeing the obvious?

Hello, I'm trying to play game #16666, and it is frozen, won't respond to anything I click. I've cleaned out my cache, restarted the game numerous times, and nothing. So I'm stuck, can't play it so can't go forward. Please fix?

I'm really enjoying this game but, for the last hour the game board is frozen. My id is Lex ID: 4348-7330-5229. I can still use the game board, but not the puzzle board. The puzzle showing on the board is number 11631UK. I have reloaded it several times. Can you fix it?

I can't see my letters; they are hidden behind my taskbar at the bottom of the screen. How do I move the board up higher?

My Puzzles board froze yesterday. Still frozen today. Can't even see my letters at the bottom of board. So frustrating!!!
I have been playing Lexulous since 2007. I have working my way up on the Puzzles US dictionary site from 25+ to 6th. I play every day and feeling very frustrated that I can't play the Puzzle.
I am no having any problem with my usual email games. That board is ok.

It would be great if the game gave you bonus points for exceeding "best move". That way we don't just quit when we hit best move points but look for an even higher score.

@Pangloss The best move is the best the robot could think of. But it's possible to score higher than that surprisingly often. But not always.

@Nell-Nelson - Then what the robot "thought of" wasn't the best move...
️@Pangloss It was the best move so far. If you beat it, you are the best move so far. The machine can only compute what its algorithms allow and they don't take account, it seems, when you place tiles that allow words to be read in say three or four different directions. But who am I to say?
