Swapping tiles

I have tried to swap tiles in a few games and the caption says "not enough tiles in the bag to swap" even though we are near the start of the game and there are over 50 left. Normally when this happens I try a few times and it works, but with this particular game, it will not let me swap.. has anybody else experienced this and, if so, how can I resolve it. Thanks in advance

@IvyGreen Please once check Is it your turn to play or opponent? If its your turn n u have tiles more than 8 n still you are not able to swap please send email at [email protected] sharing your Game ID in which you are having this issue. They will help you out from this issue.

@vandana thanks for the reply. Yes, it was definitely my go and there were 49 tiles left in the bag. I tried several times and it would not let me swap. This has happened to me before and it will usually work after I have tried 2-3 times. This time I closed the application, reopened it and after three or four attempts, it finally worked.
