Friends arriving

Is there someway to turn off the sound for when friends are arriving and leaving? I find it distracting from the game because the sound is unappealing and sometimes players come and go and come and go. I don't want to know this when I am playing.

@gardenern Completely agree! It's a very distracting sound, and sometimes people refresh over and over again. Before, there was a line of red text in the lobby when a friend arrived, no noise. I think this would be perfect!!

@scantron actually I did use to hear a "ding" when friends arrived. But I don't think I have any friends any more.

@gardenern If you do not receive an answer, you can always turn off all sound in the game

@thatguythere202 actually, you are right, there was a faint 'ding' noise when friends arrived... but it wasn't distracting while playing. The noise now sounds kind of like the old noise that lex made when you got disconnected. So my guess is for us players that have been here a while, when a friend arrives, it's more distracting because the sound is reminiscent of being booted. Maybe we just need a new sound. idk
