Unable to access multiplayer

In multiplayer mode, i am unable to have 3rd player join game. This happens in both live and email versions. But I think only 2 can join in live version but email version can have up to 4......

@Sunil-Jayanna I haven't played 4, but assume it works. If you are in new lobby and start new game then hit drop down for players, you can play 4
