TY so much for your advice. Altho the white screen is most irritating on Lex, it is my home screen that is also white & nothing to do with Lex. I def think it is connected with the latest Windows 10 updates. I am going to wait for my son-in-law to visit in the hope that he will be able to fix it for me.

Dan Mitchell part of my home screen has gone white as well but I can live wit that. i do jigsaws online (how sad is that?!!) & they are OK but otherwise it's just Lex. it disturbs my thinking.

@mapmakere Like I said, there is ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE between any of the options. It is a glitch that is really getting on my nerves. I have restarted umpteen times. I allowed Windows to install some updates recently & I think there may be a connection there.

@mapmakere The choices are not colours but "classic" "adventure"" "essence" etc and nothing seems to happen and even if it DID, I cannot see how to save it.

Board now white & grey, no coloured squares which I prefer. How can I reset it?

Man thanks for contacting me. Problem was caused by faulty mouse so now sorted.

This happens when I try to move a letter with mouse. Cannot then move the letter. What can I do to stop it?
