@betterlate1-0
In years past it has happened to me as well. I would leave a game and return to see that the tiles in my rack had changed.

Custom report generator for games played? Is there a Custom report generator for LEXULOUS for games played?
Answering such questions as: in the last fifty games what is the win/loss ratio of JRP32 VS JARGON2? Or, In the first 200 games of JRP32 VS FAEGERBLOCK what was the win loss ratio? -
passing or swapping@rtfulngine numerous times i have hit that pass or swap button by accident and thankfully, it does require confirmation on the desktop version.

Don't know why players block me. I play a fair game. What...?@jan5 I don't block those people who do not reply to a simple "Hello". I just drop them as players. Since i started playing online i feel that there are some people who view their opponent as just one more peripheral unit to their computing device instead of real people, like themselves.

Center tile option for Halloween seasonI looked at the center tile options to see if the star had been added. That's when i saw the ghost.
Later, after i posted, i kinda figured it might have been there a long time. it really looks like a little pac-man gremlin....
"The management" did seem more attentive a while back.

Center tile option for Halloween seasonLooking for a way to turn off the bingo confetti in settings, I noticed a new icon for the center tile -- see below

Option to disable new bingo animation@thatguythere202 I should have read what had been recently requested before i made my post. It was kind of fun about 2 times, but got old fast....

Validity?@dan, not exactly, you will notice that the word with that message in my example to mapmakre is "LIONHEAD" I just happen to have known that one for years -- it's a cichlid, or goldfish variety. Also in my original message, i referred to "an aggregate of dictionaries". That is in light blue (i think) and contains a link to an aggregate of about 400 (i last saw) general and specialty dictionaries. Searching for the word, that aggregate points to numerous (about 6) dictionaries with entries for Lionhead. What the message most often seems to mean is that the Collins doesn't have the word defined.

Validity?@mapmakere From my win7 desktop computer --

Validity?Since there is no category that I see for commentary I guess this category will do as well as any. I suppose that many of the people who play word games are logophiles like myself. So, this is for those of you using V2 and getting the definitions of accepted words as a trailer to your screen of the game you are on. When, instead of a definition you just get a notice of "- This word is acceptable for play in the US & UK dictionaries." or similar wording do you have a specific thought on that, before you look for the word in an aggregate of dictionaries? What is your thought?

"Eye Dialect" used in word def.I am using V2 of Lex on a desktop computer. The Lex word definitions of the words used in each game appear below the game display itself. Often the definition will begin with the words "Eye Dialect". After looking at that a couple of years, i decided to look it up:

Why does session timeout so quickly?@thatguythere202 said in Why does session timeout so quickly?:
"it does seem that logging in again is taking longer"
It is. That is the main reason why having to relog in has become annoying to me. it used to be just a click and it was done. Now it is 10 or more seconds...... -
Why does session timeout so quickly?@dan, I definitely agree with the "very annoying" part of your post. I don't think that my bank account is any more strenuous about login than lex. And, i don't think that this little game is anywhere close to justifying itself as worthy of fort knox entry treatment.

DIJON Not permitted in SOWPODS@anexparrot said in DIJON Not permitted in SOWPODS:
I bet the French would be mad that champagne is valid and I bet the Italians would be mad that Asti is not since it means it is less popular. Am I muddying this up with wines? Haha
No, you are showing the inconsistency of a supposedly consistent word list. -
DIJON Not permitted in SOWPODSI have a copy of the SOWPODS, but it is from 1998 or so and not a true reflection of the hodgepodge currently in effect.
-
DIJON Not permitted in SOWPODSAnybody, can it really be said that SOWPODS is still the British Scrabble Dictionary (and hence Lexulous) when the criteria is the word's existence in Collins Dictionary -- or is SOWPODS now a clone of Collins' CSW (Collins Scrabble Words)?
("The 'word' SOWPODS is an acronym of OSPD and OWS (Although the two source dictionaries have now changed their respective titles the term SOWPODS is still used by tournament players to refer to the combination of the two sources. There has not been any actual hard-copy list produced called SOWPODS, although the current Collins Scrabble Words, or CSW, is in effect the full SOWPODS list by a different name." https://findwords.info/term/sowpods )
*I found SOWPODS somewhat capricious and i find the CSW very capricious. -
Not getting emails ....again!@jennf, you say you are not getting email notification of your opponents actions? Are you playing an "email version" game when this happens?
-
"Fast game"?@pangloss, I have always thought it to mean that a person intended to stay with the game onscreen until it was finished as opposed to medium where the opponent would not be tied to the screen but check it a few times daily, or slow, where the opponent might check the game weekly or somesuch.....
IF i played a game as FAST, i would think i should agree before hand with opponent on time between moves -- that is timed, but informally. -
Ratings@dan, no, they don't show that on my desktop computer.
