RE: Blocking
@dan thanks for clearing that up, for a moment I thought perhaps people thought I created the bot. I'm entertained by it, but that's about it. I'm not an admin, so don't have that kind of abilities.
Regarding watching your games, please let me know your ID and I will steer clear henceforth.

RE: Blocking
@bozzog Censoring (sometimes referred to as blocking) only prevents a player from playing YOU. They are still able to play anyone else they wish. Players do not have the ability to ban people from the entire site.
Hope that clears things up.
If you've blocked a player I'd recommend moving on... Let them play who they'd play, and play who you wish to play.

PROBLEMS WITH ADS? WHO YA GONNA CALL?
AD BUSTERS!
I'm told there's two ways to end the vicious, violent, volatile ads that prowl the night, looking for victims, attacking innocent citizens of Lexulous! We must unite and use these tools to bring an end to their oppressive rule. DOWN WITH THE TYRANTS!
-
Download an ad blocker extension and install it in your browser. Activate the blocker.
-
Pay the annual fee for Lexulous.
Both will end the reign of the evil attacking ads. Do it! NOW! DON'T WAIT!

RE: Muting
@foxyvonbeerloff True. If all it took were one player asking admin to mute other players, none of us would have chat. Someone would have just sat there filing reports against everyone except themselves by now.
-
RE: Chat issues
@betterlate1-0 actually, it's about people giving admins suggestions to improve the game and everyone chiming in on that subject. I wasn't lying, I think the adjourn is a great idea, but I don't see the point in a status indicator when it's easy to log off if you're busy or when you leave (away). There's no vast conspiracy here, no one attacking anyone personally (or if there is it isn't me or map), just folks weighing in on features. Deep, cleansing breath...

RE: Chat issues
@betterlate1-0 so he (and the rest of us) aren't allowed to express opinions that might vary from yours without it being a person attack? It's okay for us to say "oh, good idea better" or "oh, I don't see the merit in that idea" without us meaning it personally. That's how I meant my reply, for example.
-
RE: Chat issues
@betterlate1-0 If admins are keeping score, I vote for adjourn to come back. It used to be nice when two players mutually agreed.
As far as a busy/away status indicator, if someone is busy or away why stay logged in. There's no longer a limit on the number of people in the lobby, so you can get right back in later when you're not busy or actually away. Just close the window, then sign back in when you get back. Not being online is a great way to tell people you're not available to play right now.

RE: Opponent Adding Time
@sakamvari it was 12 days ago now, and history only seems to show seven days of games, so I can no longer give you game numbers, my apologies.
-
RE: Opponent Adding Time
@betterlate1-0 I'm aware, but that's not what happened. The opponent gained time without me adding it.

RE: Can my computer cause errors on someone else's lexulous interface?
@mapmakere good. No word from the admins yet, so I'll take it as a highly unlikely occurrence and just keep on doing what I do in the background.
-
RE: Host should be able to reject joiners in multi-player games.
@algor totally agree. I don't have "enemies," but if I did could just censor. I cannot censor people who've never tried partners and who either won't or don't listen to the host explain the play.

RE: Can my computer cause errors on someone else's lexulous interface?
@dan-mitchell and regardless of what someone may think, I am seriously curious about this issue, about whether we can somehow be impacting performance across the miles. If it is possible, the admins need to know about it, because that seems like bad design, as well as dangerous. If things on my computer are messing with lex, that means something other than the game is traveling to their servers and that's NOT reassuring to me as a user.

RE: Can my computer cause errors on someone else's lexulous interface?
@dan-mitchell I never noticed that about the play button. So cool! Thanks for pointing it out.

RE: Can my computer cause errors on someone else's lexulous interface?
@thatguythere202 yeah, I think we all witnessed this mentality after the 2020 election. It doesn't matter what the facts are, or what experts say, once someone's made up their mind that's the truth of it and nothing will shake them. Seeing it with COVID and vaccines too. I could have 20 computer experts and the administrators of the site weigh in on this, and in the end it would still somehow be my computer causing the issues.
