@pangloss actually it can be, it's just not the common usage.

@mapmakere Ah, okay, I DO remember that. I hated adjourn. Same as abort, people wanting to adjourn usually had no intention of ever returning and finishing the game, they wanted out of a potential loss. I declined ALL adjourn requests.
@thatguythere202 oh! I remember that now. Had players requesting aborts a lot when losing, with no justification. Because they didn't want their ratings going down. And occasionally with really wacky reasons. Usually declined without an explanation.
I thought adjourn was the same thing though..?
@betterlate1-0 what would it do?
I have a thought that would solve both issues. If you're going away from the keyboard, log out for a bit, then log back in and re-set the game when you return. That way you don't appear to be there when you're not, and no one would try to join when you couldn't hear. When you're back and focused, the game goes back up, and you don't miss requests. Problem solved.
@foxyvonbeerloff me too.
@dan thanks for clearing that up, for a moment I thought perhaps people thought I created the bot. I'm entertained by it, but that's about it. I'm not an admin, so don't have that kind of abilities.
Regarding watching your games, please let me know your ID and I will steer clear henceforth.
@bozzog Censoring (sometimes referred to as blocking) only prevents a player from playing YOU. They are still able to play anyone else they wish. Players do not have the ability to ban people from the entire site.
Hope that clears things up.
If you've blocked a player I'd recommend moving on... Let them play who they'd play, and play who you wish to play.
@scantron I WILL REMOVE MY CAP AND LEAVE IT IN THE FOYER!
AD BUSTERS!
I'm told there's two ways to end the vicious, violent, volatile ads that prowl the night, looking for victims, attacking innocent citizens of Lexulous! We must unite and use these tools to bring an end to their oppressive rule. DOWN WITH THE TYRANTS!
Download an ad blocker extension and install it in your browser. Activate the blocker.
Pay the annual fee for Lexulous.
Both will end the reign of the evil attacking ads. Do it! NOW! DON'T WAIT!
@foxyvonbeerloff True. If all it took were one player asking admin to mute other players, none of us would have chat. Someone would have just sat there filing reports against everyone except themselves by now.
@betterlate1-0 actually, it's about people giving admins suggestions to improve the game and everyone chiming in on that subject. I wasn't lying, I think the adjourn is a great idea, but I don't see the point in a status indicator when it's easy to log off if you're busy or when you leave (away). There's no vast conspiracy here, no one attacking anyone personally (or if there is it isn't me or map), just folks weighing in on features. Deep, cleansing breath...
@betterlate1-0 so he (and the rest of us) aren't allowed to express opinions that might vary from yours without it being a person attack? It's okay for us to say "oh, good idea better" or "oh, I don't see the merit in that idea" without us meaning it personally. That's how I meant my reply, for example.
@betterlate1-0 If admins are keeping score, I vote for adjourn to come back. It used to be nice when two players mutually agreed.
As far as a busy/away status indicator, if someone is busy or away why stay logged in. There's no longer a limit on the number of people in the lobby, so you can get right back in later when you're not busy or actually away. Just close the window, then sign back in when you get back. Not being online is a great way to tell people you're not available to play right now.
@sakamvari it was 12 days ago now, and history only seems to show seven days of games, so I can no longer give you game numbers, my apologies.
@sakamvari next time it happens, sure!
@sakamvari only some.
@betterlate1-0 I'm aware, but that's not what happened. The opponent gained time without me adding it.
@pangloss neither. MacOS with Safari.
@mapmakere good. No word from the admins yet, so I'll take it as a highly unlikely occurrence and just keep on doing what I do in the background.
