@pangloss I used to play someone who seemed to get an inordinate number of bingos at the beginning of games. I started keeping a record of how many she got compared with how many I got; and finally realised what she was doing. Every time she started a game, if she couldn't start with a bingo she just deleted the game and started a new one, until she got what she wanted. I don't play her any more.

@taposi Most of them weren't actually new to me; though I will admit that I had not heard of muktuk. (Doesn't sound very tasty.)

You are so right, Mistertoad. I'm sorry I did not see your remarks before making my post yesterday - probably because the forum is so full of travelogues etc.

Maybe the not very interesting information about other cultures could appear somewhere apart from the forum which I assume is for discussion between players about aspects of the game?
