two things that still do not work
-
the "v2" is being whipped into shape but there are still things that do not work as expected or advertised. Two are --
- clicking on "see more completed games" goes to stats.
- the BACKSPACE key has no program override and respects the browser default of moving within the tab to the previous tab of that position.
-
yes... i am so used to the backspace button removing tiles from the board and putting them back in my rack. This is extremely helpful - especially for those of us who like to play fast games. I would love to see the backspace undo the letters typed onto the board again. Thank you!!

Two more things:
- Can't do a partial shuffle. We used to be able to put a tile or two or three and shuffle the remaining letters. Can't do that.
- We used to be able to set up a move - pre-move if you will and hit submit once the other player plays. Now when the other player plays it knocks out the pre-move and the tiles have to be replaced.

@jrp32 That backspace still catches me out! Also, it's an inconvenience not being able to recall last tile.
YES!! and also when you mistype - backspace button functioning is very useful and time saving.

The backspace to remove tiles is working normally for me now. Are you all still facing this issue? I'm using Chrome if that helps.
-
@dan-mitchell I don't think I ever had the problem. I use Chrome, and I frequently backspace to remove a letter I have just placed. What gets me sometimes is the fact that, if a word is deemed unacceptable, I first have to acknowledge that rejection, then take another step to remove the word from the board before moving on. I have learned to keep an eye on the color-changing Play tab so I know if the word is good before hitting enter ... but the entire process feels a little cumbersome.

YES!! 2 MILLION % YES!!!
This has been bugging me, but I couldn't quite put it into words. Thank you this guy!! This is also the case if you type the word in the wrong spot or accidentally type in the wrong direction, don't notice, and press enter.... you have to go through this cumbersome process to recall the word and type it in again. Especially for those of us who play faster games, this can be frustrating and wastes valuable seconds while playing. Thank you!!
