    I have sent you this question twice with no response for scoring. When I lose I lose about twenty points and when I win I only get 4-6 points. Seems lopsided can you tell me why this is.

      @stephanie-schmitt I am only a player, not a Lexulous employee or any kind of insider, but it does seem that in general, the number of rating points one gains or loses after a game depends on the relative standings of the two players. Thus, if you beat an opponent whose rating is much lower than yours you will only receive a small ratings bump. If you beat someone with a higher rating, on the other hand, they give you more "credit" because you faced more of a challenge. It's far from a perfect system but it makes a certain amount of sense. I have not looked at your record but if you check some of those games you have played you may see that relative ratings did help determine the points lost/gained.

        @stephanie-schmitt Scoring

        Unplayed Letters: When the game ends, each player's score is reduced by the sum of their unplayed letters. In addition, if a player has used all of their letters, the sum of the other players' unplayed letters is added to that player's score.

        The player with the highest final score wins the game. In case of a tie, the player with the highest score before adding or deducting unplayed letters wins.

          @bonhi I don't think this answers her question. I'm pretty sure the question is about ratings.

            @thatguythere202 I'm sure it's all statistically driven. If somebody with a rating of let's say 1500 beat somebody with a rating of 2200, their score is going to go up. It may also be a function of number of games played and some other statistics (but I don't know).
