Extending the first turn time in live games to 3 minutes and making lobby chat visible during gameplay are great improvements. They give players more strategic flexibility and enhance social interaction. Good moves for a better gaming experience!

Live games: time for first turn has been increased to 3 minutes (from 1 minute) or total game time, whichever is lesser.
@taposi I know I am coming from way out in left field here, but increasing the first move time to three minutes is NOT an improvement I welcome! I play two-minute games, meaning, if my opponent fails to move I need to wait the entire two-minute length of the game before the thing gets canceled? I guess I will have to be more proactive and delete games manually when they are slow-starting.

Seems to me that the obvious solution is to have the 1st play timeout be a proportion of the total game time.I haven't been playing fast games lately, but I agree with you that I don't want this variable to be longer.

thank you for your response. i hope admin can see the screenshot i tried posting below. it shows logging in on lexulous.com refreshes the log-in page without granting access to the gamesite but does log in to the forums.
