@Pangloss, i play several different people on MEDIUM play. I think FAST means you are going to sit there playing from start to finish and with me each game last a week or so, but that;s several at a time....

You could probably tell your browser to save the password or something - maybe try a different browser.

But Windows 7 is pretty old it may not have all the features. Time to upgrade. You can find something used on eBay for pretty good price with a lot better Hardware

JRP is right, there is no reason for lex to log us out so quickly.
JRP are you having your browser save passwords? They will all do it these days.

Even with saved passwords, it's still a little annoying to have to click unnecessarily though.

@zaph Agreed, but we don't know what browser he's using it's probably a failure of the browser.

@zaph, yes. I "just" have to click on it and wait for it to get all of its ducks in order --and that gets old. Years ago i had a Firefox add-on that re-logged Lex ievery few minutes. I loved it, but it went away some years back.

@jrp32 We don't know what browser you're using but I'm sure you could somehow tweak it to better accommodate your logins.

I just logged in to play on my computer using Firefox browser. My password and username were saved so all I had to do was hit enter. Nothing more was needed. My point is that I think you could probably adjust your browser settings and make it easier for you to log in

@Pangloss, firefox saved the login and pwd years ago. it takes from near instantaneous to 25-30 seconds for the third party login to complete depending on the load to that pwd server. The delay is the problem since often i could probably play a turn in the time it takes to complete login(I often have a play in mind to make if the space is still available my next turn) and sometimes it is not even my turn in any games, hence i just wasted the time waiting for login to complete which probably averages 10-15 seconds.
(Excuse me, i must stoke the fire under the boiler to keep my OS running.)

@jrp32 yeah I think that's a hardware issue not anything to do with Lexulous. Your processor is probably old and quite slow and it takes time for everything to load up unfortunately.
I used to teach computer classes and I would describe the tension between software engineers and the hardware engineers as the Imelda Marcos syndrome: Mrs. Marcos would come home with new shoes but her closet was full and wouldn't have any place to put them so her husband, being rich and powerful, would build her a bigger closet. Now with extra space she could buy more shoes and fill it up again and he'd build her a bigger closet, etc. I see computer designers make faster processors with more RAM and the software engineers see that they have more ability to make bigger programs so they write more complicated programs. Your situation sounds similar, you have a bloated website loading up on your fire-stoked system. Maybe you can convert to a steam engine. 🙂
