Bring back the classic version

Re: More Complaints About the New Version I so agree that the new version is an absolute pain. Thank you for explaining what some of those annoying abbreviations mean. Who needs them? A total waste of space.
Bring back the classic version - I absolutely hate this new one. It works badly in my chosen browser (and I am not going to change it just for Lexulous) and actually works better on the iPad, where you CAN still work backwards when adding a word with magic tile placement, something that is missing from the new version.
Totally agree that if ain't broke don't fix it. What a waste of everyone's time. In my opinion there is little to recommend this overhaul.

@hicklers
Firefox just got updated and seems to be causing issues for some people. I didn't mind changing to Chrome for chess/scrabble/ gMail and using FF for browsing.May I also quote a comment from ThatGuyThere202 on 14 Jan 2021 in a thread entitled 'Disappointment':
"I have to agree, this new version of Lexulous is far from ideal. BUT please keep in mind: The version which you became used to and enjoyed for years was based on outdated technology. The Lexulous team didn't just decide to trash and make a new version just to make more money or anything. They were forced to redesign and recode the whole thing once the powers-that-be decided the "Flash" system had to go.
Flash is no longer included in new computers and browsers, and it is being, or has been, eliminated everywhere. It's probably not as easy as any of us non-experts might wish to simply import the old games and apps into the new environment. I, for one, am sticking with Lexulous (for now at least) as they iron out the bugs. But if you feel you can't, I understand that too. All the best!"

@mistertoad Thank you for that. I had forgotten about the Flash issue and now understand the need for the update. Yes, Firefox doesn't seem to like the new Lexulous and it does give me problems with other websites too. I will heed your advice!
