Yes, I'm being blocked by mods
Re: The man behind the curtain When I played the last of my tiles, I had the winning score. The opponent had leftover tiles equal to 2 points. LOOK AT THE SCREENSHOT!
@dan-chall So why did I, as the winner, get the penalty?
My understanding of the rules is that the value of the remaining tiles on the losing side is subtracted from their Move Score and added to the Move Score of the winner (the player who emptied their rack on their last play).
But look here. The value of the Opp/loser's remaining tiles (2) was subtracted from the winner's total. I had the higher score and had no remaining tiles. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
The screenshot is from a game (#50268670 US) I won yesterday. I've never seen this calculation popup box before, so I screenshotted it.
@betterlate1-0 yay, free advice!
Upon reflection, I realize it's not too many i's, it's that they come in clumps.
@betterlate1-0 It never occurred to me that it just isn't in the U.S. dictionary. lol
I hate the letter i—especially when there are 4 or 5 in my first rack. This got me thinking.
Did you know that the frequency of the letter i in the English language (Oxford Concise Dictionary, 1995) is just 7.5%?
I propose that Lexulous has too many i's (as a percentage of the total), and 2 of them should be removed.
Who's with me?
@dan you sound angry, so let me explain better in hopes it helps clarify my formerly muddy post.
The ratio of bingos to games played, as well as the total number of games ever played, looks fishy.
Certain longtime players here say that this game gets hacked sometimes. Maybe yes?
I like to learn new words, so when I saw this player score with VOIVODES, I looked it up in the Lex dictionary. But it's not there! What gives?!
@dan You're off topic, dearie.
@dan Impossible. If you can read the screenshot (carefully), my opponent denied having said what I was responding to. See?
@sakamvari It's random. Neither only one game, but not all games.
@dan P.S. I don't care if the chat is affected. It's the game itself that gets messed up.
@pangloss I just deleted a game before either of us played. My score dropped.
Don't understand why some games your only choice is DELETE and other games the choice is RESIGN.
Boot these people off!
This is the most crazy thing. My opponent sent a chat message then claimed not to have sent it nor be able to see it by scrolling back. I screenshotted it for visual proof.
I'm guessing the ppl who admin this game have fun f*king with us.
@betterlate1-0 LULZ
What the heck?
@majorwordster-0 Seems to be down…at least part of it.
