Recommend addition/removal of words

@mistertoad thx
-
@marc-krizack, of course it is a good word. If you look up things like the Collins definition of "ZE", then PAYDIRT becomes a perfectly logical word joining.
-
Is f...k an acceptable word in this scrabble game
-
No, but fuck is.

There's also a dictionary tab next to the game board.

@vivviv lot of words are words, but up to you to discriminate and use or not.

I'm going to try and translate for better: there are a lot of potentially offensive words that are valid, it's up to the player to decide whether you're okay with playing them!
(I don't know about you guys but I never play the N word or the C word.)

@anexparrot thanks for the translation. LOL I don't think people need translations unless it is a certain few people. I am lazy and think people are bright enough to understand with shorter sentences, if they do not understand they can ask me, I do not mind explaining if necessary.
-
@betterlate1-0 please explain why you are lazy - you make no sense. Considering your expertese on proper nouns, bingos, lexulous and tech. Also please explain why you have the ability to use proper text when typing in the forum (usually causing a stir) and not in the lobby. Please let me give you an example "o" "u" "I c" etc? look forward to your reply kind regards
-
@terrijay I am sorry you have this need. thank you for your invaluable questions, advice and sarcasm. Have a lovely day. Oh, before I go, know it is expertise not expertese. It is not me causing the stir ..my question is why are you so bound and determined. Do not blame and if you have no civilized response do not respond to me to cause the stir you want to cause. For how many years will you continue to do this?
-
@betterlate1-0 probably best to answer me when you are sober... just a suggestion reagards Terrijay
-
@terrijay if only I drank, then I could be like you. Take care.. Oh, regards too
-
@vivviv
Which one do you mean... 'flak' and 'fink' are both valid.
LOL -
This post is deleted!

@mistertoad Hey, don't forget FORK, FUNK etc. Wait, this is becoming like Wordle now (assuming we're still allowed to mention that on here).
-
quo is a valid word listed in Merriam Webster dictionary

Re: Recommend addition/removal of words
A number of time over the years, I have thought to make the word ANOVA. Something I do occasionally as a researcher and I did note just now that the word is actually in the Collins online dictionary.
All good if not appropriate but definitely used either capitalized or lower-case these days.

I see that in Collins it's marked "NOUN ACRONYM FOR..."
and in MW it's labeled "abbreviation." Prolly why it's not in the word list. Nice word, though! -
For clarity, the original post by 'moindoline' was as follows:
"Le mot addenda en français peut s'écrire addendas avec un S au pluriel. The plural of the word addenda can be addendas. Thank you"
"The word addenda in French can be written addendas with an S in the plural. The plural of the word addenda can be addendas."Addenda is ALREADY the plural of addendum! More simply:
The plural of addendum is addenda.
