This was some kind of general system crash on March 4 of this year and I think a lot of people lost the game(s) they were playing. It was right at the end of mine, and I had won with ATTIC. After writing about it three times, I got the reply:

There were some issues on the site/app for approximately 3-4 hours. Everything is back to normal. In case you are having trouble accessing your account, please write back and we shall help you.

I was having trouble accessing my account and getting my won game back, so I wrote nine more times about it, even including a screenshot of the final position (which I vainly hoped might be reconstructed) until they finally said:

Sorry for the delay in reply. At the moment our entire team is working in isolation from different cities due to COVID-19. The game number has been removed from the system because it was corrupted during system downtime. Apologies for the inconvenience.

I've assumed it was more or less the same situation now, hence my pessimism.

@mapmakere no, among scrabble players it is tactic waiting for open spot or a letter or more time to find that bingo u know is there but can't see unless u have more time- PS never saw a game totally unplayable..even if just use one letter

@itsazure If you are trying to set up a table for more than two players, there is a setting for "Number of players" in the menu that opens up when you click to create a New Table.

@bria-silbert This is probably due to a Facebook issue. We have already let our developers know of this issue. They are still trying to find out if anything could be done to resolve this.

@dan I see. Yes, I admit that the world of challenge games (and even moreso, the world of e-mail games) is alien to me.

@elaine-solomon Switching off the chat toggle under settings seems to disable the in-game chat entirely. I leave it enabled so I can say "hi", "gg" etc, and the occasional bit of friendly chat (if my opponent isn't a psycho). I generally switch to the dictionary or tools tab for most of the game so the chat isn't in my eyeline at all times. The chat tab will light up blue if there's a message (and you're on a different tab) which is a nice touch.
