@sparks That a really good idea, but i'm just not really sure.

@dan
No, I've never done that. With one exception I can think of, I've only played against a particular opponent by email for years. I wish I had already gotten back to 69% games won, the point at which I arbitrarily and dubiously decided I would tell her about the score (word-strength?) thermometer, as I haven't gotten a word from her in either of our two simultaneous games in five days and I suspect she may be discouraged and fed up by my beating her all the time because I come up with words like ACHIOTE knowing that for example a 106-point is possible and that it has to be on the free quadruple (two doubles) and being willing to sit there for three hours trying every possible combination of letters till I find the one that's actually a word. I'm sure I would be a flop in live games, but thanks for inviting me in spite of not liking me and I don't mind your not liking me because I'm deliberately cranky here and enjoy that. This is the only place I can think of that I'm like that, so I figure I should make the most of it. I don't know who I'm going to insult next, but I don't think it's your turn. -
@sparks That's an interesting idea, I think. Maybe.
-
@sparks Just for the sake of argument, I'll file this suggestion in the folder marked "bordering on the clinically insane." Just for the sake of argument, you understand.
-
@thatguythere202 yeah I understand your filing system, but i'm still not sure at what pace you want to argue this.

What about the people who like glacially slow conversations? One sentence every 11 months?

Off with their threads!

@anexparrot That's what family is for.

@sparks bring it to the lobby... then I can "bring you down to my level and clobber you with experience" (like the idiot I am).
