Looks like the system just fills empty seats with bots so matches start fast, not for teaching anyone. That’s why every game drags to the same 20-minute format. As far as I can tell, there’s no toggle for shorter rounds — no 5- or 7-minute mode. Kinda strange, because a quick-match option would make way more sense for casual play.

Well the chat room is finally back on. It was down for about 2 weeks or so. Any explanation as to why?

@jhon-steve if I don't like the time parameters I won't play. For example a 10-minute game is too long and I think it allows the other person the opportunity to cheat. Not that I'm super paranoid about it but I prefer to avoid it so I play five to seven minute games. Also in the app you can use the slider bar to limit the range of your opponent. I played around 17 to 1800 so I'm not going to accept a game from any of those a-holes that are up in the 2400 range. :)

@betterlate1-0 In years past it has happened to me as well. I would leave a game and return to see that the tiles in my rack had changed.

Many respected word games no longer permit the use of the word "Jew/Jews" or "Gyp/Gyps", as verbs with origins based in negative stereotypes of Jewish people and Gypsies. Why does Lexulous continue to permit the use of these ethnic slurs, as well as "nigger" to score points in your game? While I understand you don't want to censor Lexulous players, your acceptance of such terms as permissible normalizes, perpetuates, and promotes the harm that such terms cause when used in any context, including a game that's supposed to be fun for ALL to play.

Hi bonhi, Chat started working again so I am not sure if you fixed it today or what. But in the meanwhile I do wonder if Lex has auto word detection that turns the chat off on both players when one of them starts calling names? I have started saving screen shots of players doing this but in the past when I reported it Lex turned my chat off pending an investigation which is frustrating. I just try to put up with abusive players but it is also a bummer to have to request my chat be turned on every few days. Anyway thank you!
