I AM NOT RECEIVING EMAIL SCRABBLE NOTIFICATIONS. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME.

@sakamvari, The problem has continued to happen to me and others the past 3 days. Note, the problem is NOT a white board, but rather that when a player attempts to join a 4 person game that was created before the player logged in, an error happens that logs the player out, resulting in a largely empty screen. There is no board, because the player never joined and the host had no opportunity to accept the player. I am under the impression that Pat30 sent in a video of this happening several days ago. Note that there is a workaround. The player can log back in and ask the host to delete and recreate the 4 person game while all the players are logged in. Then everybody can join.

Here is another case where you blow a question off with one of your standard boilerplate replies and don't answer it. @Morsoff, I suspect you can find that you're getting one version in a certain circumstance or circumstances, and the other in another circumstance or circumstances. When I click on the link in an email alert of a new move, for example, the game opens in the new version. This is because the email link is so formatted: https://www.lexulous.com/v2/g/[game number]/[...] The v2 indicates Version 2. When I click on my browser bookmark, however, https://www.lexulous.com/email/ I get the old version. If I change the bookmark to the corresponding v2 email page, https://www.lexulous.com/v2/play_email I'll always get the new version. What I'm going to do rather than change the bookmark, however, is create a new bookmark next to the old one and name both accordingly (e.g. "Lexulous 1" and "Lexulous 2"), so from now on I'll have immediate access to either version via the two bookmarks (though I already have macros for switching a game from one version to the other). Thanks for suggesting this by your question. If in your case it isn't a matter of email alert vs. bookmark, it's presumably something similar and similarly resolvable. @mapmakere I think it's a bit cheeky to pooh-pooh reasonable suggestions and justifiable complaints.

Stop trying to modify the useless new version. Give us back the Lex we want to play against. Or at least change your slogan. Lex is no longer the fun word game you love to play. I keep trying to adjust, but really, when Lex makes my life harder than it needs to be, I'm ready to give up. Plus, I pay for Pro and get ads upon opening and booted off all the time. Can't even comprehend that someone has be paid to make such a mess of a beautiful thing...

@hicklers Hi. I was unable to reply to you on the 'arrows' thread as it got locked rather quickly. Just wanted to say that I certainly understood the overall gist of what you were suggesting. It's not a bad idea in theory, but in practice I think it would overcomplicate things and confuse people. Who knows, maybe they'll give it a try. Have a great day.
