@elizabeth-vitale Tap the menu button. If there are less than two moves played, you can delete the game. If it's two moves or more the delete option disappears but you can still resign, in which case you'll take a loss.
See the attached screenshot from the Android version of the game.

@mapmakere same here. well, right-clicking brings up a menu, in which one of the options is Emoji. On the rare occasions when I feel like using one, I tend to go with Windows/period.

@karen-taylor It appears that this happens when players are joining games via the mobile app. I have had it happen frequently at my own hosted tables, and my policy these days is simply to delete the game before anyone has moved (or after the first move), which in either case doesn't affect the bottom line. It is a little irksome because it means you will have to set up a new hosted table. But the app players apparently don't have a choice; the site will sit them down at any available game!

@tracy-wambolt it would surprise me if that option ever becomes available, though it would be a fascinating thing to try! Presumably you would redesign the board like this only by prearrangement with the other player. But it would introduce a new wrinkle to the game if experienced players found they had to be on the lookout for new bonus square positions. Interesting idea!

@hypersonics said in When you host a game, you always play second.:

Hi, when you host a game you always seem to play second. This seems rather unfair given that you have taken the effort to host the game in the first place. Is there any way of alternating this so that you get to play first sometimes if you're the host?

In many games, the order of play can have a significant impact on the outcome of the game, which is why some games use a system of alternating the starting player. One common way to do this is to have players take turns hosting the game, with the starting player determined randomly or by some other predetermined method, such as the player who won the previous game.

@lexulous said in Board & Tile Theme:

    Mobile App
On the Lexulous mobile app we presently offer the regular mode and a Dark mode. This can be activated via the Settings button within the app.
Players find the Dark mode useful when they are in low-light conditions. It is easier on the eye.
    Website
The website also has a dark mode that can be activated via the Settings (top-right menu on page).
Apart from this, when you are on the game board, click on the game number and you will be able to select the board & tile theme. There are quite a few options here, so choose what works for you!
In case you wish to send us a colour scheme, please contact admin@lexulous.com and we shall try to include it.

Similarly, the Lexulous website also offers a Dark mode, which can be accessed through the Settings menu in the top-right corner of the page. Additionally, when playing a game on the website, users can select their preferred board and tile theme by clicking on the game number and choosing from the available options.

Did you know that Aragonese, also known as the Romance language, is native to the Pyrenees valleys of Aragon, Spain? Aragon is a landlocked region in northeastern Spain and it's bisected by the Ebro River, with the Pyrenees Mountains in its north. Aragon's primary source of energy is hydroelectricity, generated by the damming of the Ebro River and its northern affluents in Huesca.

Like many of Spain's other regions, Aragon has a unique cuisine and rich gastronomic heritage. It’s delicacies include thick stews, packed with both meat and vegetables, asparagus from the banks of the River Ebro, the onions from Fuentes and boiled borage leaves.
Fiestas del Pilar, Zaragoza and Carnival Bielsa are some of the noted festivals of Aragon, Spain.
