I sometimes block people when the game does not feel competitive. Like I am "below their range" by 150 points. I have several friends I already play who are way more experienced than I. So I am fairly consistently losing to them (and learning). It is just so nice to have a few balanced games as well.

@Deborah-McElmon-Clahane I can't say I've found that happening but it really doesn't seem to be purely random. It seems like whenever I play someone out of my league, the letters I get are crappy - while they're playing bingos...

40 for 7 letters and 50 for 8 In real scrabble 7 is the bingo because only 7 letters in the scrabble rack. If you attach to another letter and make it 8 letters in scrabble there are no bonus points as there are here. Both are bingos

If you pay membership..I do not think.you get ads You can get an ad blocker but I am more in favor of paying membership to support the site, the people who created it and work so hard to keep it going

@Bruce-Boer If slow connection or if tiles fly around on board or i freeze up ..have not run into this so far in this version but in other lex i have..anyway if does not happen here, u miss nothing. Cheating is their problem, the things I mention make it my problem.
